On Tuesday, Sirloin Stockade on Martin Springs Drive, caught fire. The cause of the fire is unknown, but an investigation is currently being held. Junior Lane Taylor is an employee of the restaurant and was able to give an idea as to what the issue may have been.

“I was told something happened with the AC units and they either caught fire or blew up,” Taylor said.

The employees made it safely out of the building and there are no reported injuries. The building however, has a mass amount of damage and is unfortunately a loss.

“From what I remember they all got out before the fire actually started or got really big so everyone’s fine. No one got hurt,” Taylor said.
