Senior Kelsey Wilson earned an Excellent ranking at the Journalism Education Association’s national convention, which took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota Nov. 16-20.
Wilson, and seniors Sarah Rolufs, Sara Khan, Connie Liou, Grace Hofheins, and Kaitlyn Hanlin competed in an on-site writing competition. Journalists attended a presentation and then had an hour to compose a story about the event from various perspectives. Wilson competed in sports reporting to earn her national award.
