On Friday, Nov. 10 students flooded into Rolla High School’s main gymnasium. The RHS leadership classes had toiled for weeks to put together an assembly to honor local veterans. A hush fell over the crowd as the proceedings began. Four people dressed in military garb entered, bearing flags. After they had completed their ceremony, two speakers had the opportunity to talk about their time serving in the military. Following the orations, the choir and band performed for the students and military members in attendance.
