“The Variety Show theme this year is Dance the Night Away. The show features songs from both of the musicals Footloose and Grease as well as solo acts from RHS students and an acapella group,” choir director Jason Bartelsmeyer said.  

  “The Variety Show allows those of us in choir to perform different numbers than we normally would. Usually we perform choral numbers such as southern gospel chorus pieces. But in the Variety Show we perform songs like Footloose and Grease which is a fun opportunity for us. It’s also very entertaining for the audience,” Senior Sam Wilsdorf said.

  “This is my third year performing in the RHS Variety Show. I was in the acapela group for the last two years and I’m super excited because I actually get to lead the acapela group this year,” Wilsdorf said.

  The Variety Show will be performed on March 2nd and 3rd at the Rolla Middle School auditorium. Be sure to stop by and enjoy the show!
